A very simple dog food recipe which can be made at home is dry dog food morsels. You just need to make sure they while you are making any homemade food for your dog that any ingerdient you use in that recipe is natural and safe for your pet.

Here is simple way that how you can make homemade dry dog food for your pet:

For this recipe you will need – 4 cups whole wheat flour – 3 cups white flower- 1 cup wheat germ – 2 cups ground beef – 1 tsp. yeast – 2 tsp. garlic powder – 2 cups powdered milk – 4 eggs.

First of all take the yeast and dissolve it into the 1 cup of hot water. Then simply mix all the above mentioned ingredients together only after the yeast has thoroughly dissolved into the water. Knead the resultant until a thick paste is formed. If needed you can add extra water to the mixture.

Now once the paste is made, let the dough to sit for about thirty to thirty five minutes. This will help yeast to rise.

After this simply with a rolly pin, roll the dough out on a floured surface. Make sure the dough is not very thick once you have finished making it.

After this you may cut the dough into bite-sized square morsels with the help of a small knife. Now put the squares on a baking sheet and place in the oven. Let it bake at 350 degrees F for about forty five minutes. When you have baked it let the morsels to cool down. Now you have just made real homemade dry dog food. Simply feed this food to your pet.
